Trainings started at CTR Ludhiana

On 08/09/2021 in order to resume physical class room trainings in various training centres, Central Tool Room (MSME Technology Centre), Ludhiana in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN) for providing training to youth of Himachal Pradesh has inaugurated training program in certificate course in CNC Turning. General Manager HPKVN, Harsh Amrender Singh and General Manager CTR, A.P. Sharma inaugurated the batch for CNC Turning course. This course is compulsory residential and will be completed in 6 months. The current batch size is of 20 candidates and mobilization is undergoing to add another batch of 20 candidates which is to be finalized by 15th September, candidates may apply for it. This training course is NSQF aligned and in great demand with industries and placement opportunities are also very good after completion of the course.

Managing Director HPKVN, Kumad Singh informed that resumption of MoUs after pandemic with various National/ Government of India Institutes has begun. She said the training of candidates have affected due to the closer of training institutions for a long time. it is clear that this pandemic has utterly disrupted an education system that many assert was already losing its relevance. Ms Singh also stressed on ensuring strict adherence of the standard operating procedure (SOP) related to the pandemic in training centres.

GM HPKVN apprised that this program is fully sponsored by HPKVN and no training fee will be charged from the selected candidates, as well as compulsory accommodation and food arrangements will be made during the training. Nationally recognized certificates will be given to the students who will pass the training programme.
